Hawaii House Helpers LLC – A Real Estate Company in Honolulu and all surrounding neighborhoods in Oahu
Hawaii House Helpers is a division of Artisan Management Partners, LLC and is owned locally by Gloria Shomo, married to real estate agent Chris Shomo, President and founder of Home Sweet Home Hawaii Real Estate brokered by eXp Realty.
Hawaii House Helpers was founded for the sole purpose of helping homeowners who need to sell their home quickly and who do not want to use a Realtor or traditional real estate brokerage.
Observing Chris who has been in real estate for 20+ years, and Gloria with a background in investing, she has noticed some homeowners who are in tough financial times or going through a family issue prefer to sell their home privately, without the hustle and bustle of selling their home on the open market. Examples of a regular sale could mean all the time and effort cleaning and preparing the home to sell, decluttering and taking hard to move items on multiple trips to the city dump, or spending lots of money, time and hassle making improvements or renovations on the home to help it sell, installing new landscaping, possibly staging your home with rented furniture, the Realtor having open houses for the general public and dealing with nosy neighbors, and having to work with the challenges of a buyer’s timelines and possible financial problems, not getting approved for their loan in time, YIKES! That’s a lot of effort for someone who would prefer to sell quickly with no hassles!!
This is where Hawaii House Helpers can step in. What Gloria is able to do is skip all those things and give you – the homeowner – a good price for your home that you want to accept and are happy with! Not a horrible low ball offer the usual investors and house flippers do to people. Gloria is also able to pay you all cash for it, which means you’ll be able to “close” or record and sell your home at a time and date that works best for, even in as little as 3-5 days versus 3-5 months or longer. Gloria works on your time frame and at a pace that is convenient and most helpful for you.
Sometimes in life bad things and tough times happen to good people, and it’s her mission to help you in this season to make your sale as smooth and stress-free as possible.
A little about Gloria Shomo…
Gloria and her husband know about tough times. Gloria is a 12 year cancer survivor, that is why her life motto is always “Be Kind to everyone you meet, you never know what kind of battle they’re going through.” Professionally she’s worked in several industries, from motion pictures/feature films as a visual effects coordinator – she was even a part of the team that won the Oscar for Life of Pi! – and is still a member of the Producers Guild of America (PGA), as Director of Operations for Hawaiian Islands Ministries which holds annual conferences gathering churches throughout the islands, as project manager in Information Technologies helping the State of Hawaii implement the Affordable Care Act, served as Vice President of Publicity for the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA), Hawaii Chapter, in project management support overseeing staff in government contracts and security Top Secret clearances, coaching and assisting the local military community for job placements after their tours, working in the cyber security industry for our State helping DOD contractors and small businesses, and started an import business delivering thousands of much needed masks and other PPE to our local hospitals frontline medical staff, nurses and doctors during the covid pandemic.
Personally, Gloria was the leader in her previous church’s Women’s Ministry, serves many women supporting them in their own journeys of battling cancer, is a registered parent for foster children here on Oahu, and homeschools her son who was an unexpected miracle baby because of the cancer treatments. Gloria and Chris are also parents to Sadie, the furry feral kitten who was adopted into the Shomo Ohana with open arms, that’s been an amazing blessing, filling a gap in their hearts when their foster baby was reunited with her birth mom.
Meet Sadie!
That’s a little about Gloria, please tell Gloria a little about you and your situation! Always feel free to reach out to Gloria for a private and very short conversation to see how she can help you. Gloria and Chris believe we are all on this earth for a very short time, and it’s their mission to help as many people as possible in the little time we have left.
Warmest Aloha and God bless,
Gloria and your Ohana at Hawaii House Helpers
